That's Amore

At Worldly Weddings, we're huge fans of the TV show, The Apprentice. So, we were very excited to learn that Season One Apprentice winner, Bill Rancic not only got married in September, he had what we like to call a "Worldly Wedding". For those that don't know, a "Worldly Wedding" can be described as a wedding celebration that features cultural, ethnic, or religious elements.

Bill married E! News anchor, Giuliana DePandi on Italy's fabulous island of Capri. Giuliana who was born in Napoli wanted to get married in Italy. They had a traditional Catholic ceremony in both Italian and English. The officiant was Bill's family priest whom he knew from his childhood.
In traditional Italian weddings, the guests follow the couple by foot from the church to the reception site. Bill and Guiliana were no different; they honored her Italian roots by keeping this tradition. After the ceremony, the couple and there guests were taken by bus to Capri's center piazza where Neapolitan dancers sang and danced alongside the guests as they walked behind Bill and Giuliana to the reception which was held at the Grand Hotel Quisiana. The reception menu included, what else? Italian food! Prosciutto and two pasta dishes from Southern Italy to be exact. Best Wishes to Bill and Giuliana.

We love celebrity Worldly Weddings. Actually, we love Worldly Weddings, period. We want to hear about your "Worldly Wedding". Check out our Real Worldly Weddings page. Email us your comments and pictures of your Worldly Weddings.
