Happy St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is one of those holidays celebrated by people of all backgrounds, Irish and non-Irish. The day is to honor Ireland’s patron saint, St. Patrick. It is said that when he worked as a missionary in Ireland, he often used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated annually in the U.S. and Ireland. In Ireland, celebrations are mostly religious. Spring Forward

Don’t forget to change your clocks. Daylight Savings Time begins today. A new federal energy bill specifies that beginning this year; Daylight Savings Time begins about 3 weeks earlier than last year. OK, so you lose an hour of sleep. Warmer weather makes it all worth it.
